I worked for Jenny Craig for a year. I loved my clients. I took the time to listen to them and work with them. I totally understand everyone's frustration with this program. I was frustrated also. My hands were tied by a 15 minute window of time to work with them. The disorganization resulted in many mix ups with client files and histories. I was pressured into selling products that they did not want or need. I was told that we would have extensive training and was put through a 5 day period at the beginning where we were given a basic outline of what was expected and we roll played with other "newbies". Many questions were left unanswered. My director was a joke. She was rude to clients and talked about them behind their backs during weekly staff meetings. The girls who worked with me were actually stoned half of the time. Total pot heads! As long as they bring in the money they continue to work. I quit because of the hypocrisy. I was scheduled to go in on a Wednesday to start my program, but rescheduled for Thursday because it was my son's first birthday and I wanted to set that day aside for him because it was special to the whole family. When I told the counselor about the date change and why I was changing it... she said, "Sure, you just HAVE to get in that last piece of cake before you come in, don't you?" I was appalled!!
