However, as I was no longer able to shop at clothes stores (had to buy clothes online), couldn't travel due to not fitting in the seats, etc. I knew I had to do something. I saw an ad for nutrisystem one day at work (I'd seen them before, but this day I was thinking about the fact that I needed to do something positive in my life). I checked out their website and decided to order a month's worth of food, figuring I'd cancel it if I didn't like the food. I started Nov. 1. My first meal (breakfast) was nothing exciting, but I was surprised to find I really liked lunch and then dinner. I started losing weight and tweaked my food order to things I liked. It's now July, 2009 and so far I've lost 86 pounds! I still have a ways to go, but I feel great and look a lot better! I'm exercising nearly daily: strength and cardio. I eat 6 times a day. The nutrisystem bulletin boards are a great source of information and motivation. I'm on them daily. I love the convenience of the program. I finally believe for the first time in my life that I will lose all the weight and I'll be able to maintain (I plan on staying on the program the rest of my life...not eating it everyday in maintenance, but using the meals on occasion to keep me on track).
